How to Fix the "Composer detected issues" Error in Shack Forms

In some use cases, after updating your Shack Forms Pro Joomla extension, you may encounter the "Composer detected issues in your platform: Your Composer dependencies require a PHP version ">= 8.1.0" error, as you can see in the image below:

This error indicates that the latest Shack Forms Pro version requires PHP version 8.1.0 or later.

Here is how you can fix it.

  • In your hosting control panel, go to Software > Select PHP Version:

  • Select a PHP version higher than 8.0 and click the Apply button:

This will fix the "Composer detected issues" error.
