When you're creating an event form or registration form in JCal Pro, you can choose from many different field types.

In this guide, we'll introduce to the important field types. You can find these fields by going to Components > JCal Pro > Fields.

Checkbox

This field type provides a single Yes/No checkbox:

Checkboxes

This field type provides multiple checkboxes. Users can select more than one box.

Color

This field type allows you to input a color choice:

Email

This field type allows you to enter an email address. There is validation to make sure the email address is correct:

List

This field type allows you to create a dropdown list. Users can select only one option.

Media

This field type allows you to choose an image from your media library, or upload a new image:

Number

This field type allows you to enter a number into the field.

Radio

This field type allows you to create radio buttons. Users can only select one option.

Text

This field type allows you to enter a single line of text:

Textarea

This field type allows you to enter several lines of text:

URL

This field type allows you to enter a URL. The field will validate that it is a valid URL.
