Simple Renew is the best way to create a membership site with Joomla 2.5 or 3.
We're pleased to announce the second beta release of Simple Renew.
This new version adds a new option called "Multiple Subscriptions". Setting this option to "Yes" will allow your subscribers to sign up for more than one plan. This is ideal for software developers, SaaS services, or anyone selling more than one product.
With this feature enabled, users joining the site, or adding extra subscriptions, will be able to choose multiple plans. There will be a check-box for each plan:
To fully support multiple subscriptions, we've updated two more important Simple Renew pages:
- Auto Renewal: This page has been altered to show all plans the user is subscribed to. This allows them to quickly see and change the auto-renew status for each plan.
- Account Profile: This page now displays all subscribed plans and details like expiration date, auto renew status, etc.
Simple Renew works with Joomla's ACL, so each subscription can act independently. For example, one subscription can add a user to the "Editor" user group and a second subscription can also add them to the "Author" user group.
