This is a very simple trick that many people seem to miss ... you can create your own module positions from inside of Joomla. Here's how to do it:
- Go to Extensions >> Module Manager and open up any module. You'll see page looking like this:
- Place your cursor in the "Position" box and hit backspace. You'll be able to delete the position name:
- Type in the name of the position that you'd like to create:
