Planning for Joomla 4.1 is Starting
Yes, Joomla 3 is very stable. But one reason for that is there have been no new features in the last couple of years. Now that Joomla 4 is available, the Joomla team can move forward with new features. Planning is already underway for Joomla 4.1.

What Joomla 3 Users Will See About Joomla 4
Joomla 3 will have a rolling approach to messages about Joomla 4:
- Joomla 4 has arrived!
- When is the time to migrate to Joomla 4?
- Joomla 3.10 has entered security only mode.
- Support ends soon for Joomla 3.
So there are different messages for different stages. You can also customize or hide the messages.
